Find Calm Ways to Ride Big Waves.

I read once that emotions are like the ocean waves, some times the waves are small and calm, sometimes they are big and stormy, you can’t stop the ocean waves and nor should you. Our emotions are the same, some days they will be calm and some days they will be stormy and some days they will be calm, stormy, wild, rolling and relaxed all in one. All emotions are important and all emotions are ok, what we need to do is work out how we surf those difficult waves with healthy coping strategies and skills, so we roll up on the shore more resilient, confident and self aware.

So that is the mission of Calm Ahoy Kids to build the self confidence, self awareness and resilience of children through kindness, connection, movement, relaxation and coping skills.
