I am obsessed with the Snoop Dogg Affirmation song, my son and I love to sing and dance along. It’s such a great way to explore positive affirmations as adults and kids.
I decided to create an affirmation list and printable cards, so that we could continue to learn and practice our positive affirmations daily alongside the song. You can download the PDF affirmation list for free below and buy the matching cards here.
If you haven’t heard the song yet or just need a little pick me up, here it is!

What are Positive Affirmations
To be honest if you have listened to the Affirmation song they explain beautifully what positive affirmations are. So I’ll quote Snoop Dogg himself.
Affirmations, Music and Movement.
What I also love is that the positive affirmations are combined with music and movement. Listening to music and moving our bodies helps us to relax and release stress through lowering Cortisol (the stress hormone).
It also help to release endorphins which naturally elevates our mood and makes us feel good. So it’s a great little song to give us a positive boost!
Here are the 15 affirmations used in the song and you can get the free printable list here.
- There is no one better to be than myself
- Today is going to be an amazing day
- My feelings matter
- I get better every single day
- I choose to feel happy
- My family loves me so much
- I care about others
- I learn from my mistakes
- I am responsible
- I am surrounded by Love
- Every problem has an answer
- I deserve to feel good
- Anything is possible
- I believe in myself
- I control my own happiness
Snoop Dogg Affirmation Song Printable Affirmation Cards
Using positive affirmations helps the brain to recognise positive thoughts. Psychologist Rick Hanson describes the brain as being like Teflon to the positive and Velcro to the negative. We are wired as humans to notice the negative and not not see the positive so easily.
Kids can use these cards to practice learning to say kind and affirming things to themselves. Helping them to build their self esteem and boost their confidence. Positive affirmations remind children about all the ways that they matter and make a difference.
5 Ideas on how to use your printable affirmation cards:
- Pull a daily card at home or in the classroom
- Use as lunch box notes or book marks
- Make a positive Affirmation wall or mirror
- Play Affirmation Snap or Memory Game
- Make an Affirmation collage, vision board or scrap book
